David Fincheri "The Social Network" on ülimalt edukas ja mees ise on nüüd Rootsis ja alustab varsti Lohetätoveeringuga tüdruku filmimist.
Kui esimest korda kuulsin, et filmile remake tuleb, siis tekkis küsimus, miks? Rootslaste film oli väga hästi tehtud, cast oli vapustav. Ainus põhjus tundus olevat, et Usas ei löö võõrkeelne film lihtsalt läbi, kuna ameeriklane ei viitsi tiitrit lugeda. Samuti leian ma, et remakeist võiks rääkida vähemalt kümne aasta möödudes, mitte siis kui mul on alles värskelt meeles, mida ma tegin samal päeval kui filmi kinos vaatamas käisin. Tudnub, et sama liigse kiirustamise nahka läks ka suurepärase Tomas Alfredsoni "Let the right one in" (2008) remake "Let me in" (2010), mis on tegelikult hea film, aga põrus avanädalal täeilikult.
Igatahes on Fincheri Lohetätoveeringuga tüdruku cast paljulubav: Mikael Blomkvist on Daniel Craig, Lisbeth Salander Rooney Mara (otse social networkist), Robin Wright, Stellan Skarsgard, Christopher Plummer, Joely Richardson, Steven Berkoff, David Dencik (tegi kaasa ka originaalis).
Kui script on ka hea, siis jääb üle ainult oodata. Palju pole jäänud: 21.12.2011

Today's Stupid Pill
Seth Grahame-Smith has written a novel called Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (2009) combining Jane Austen's classic 1813 novel with elements of modern zombie fiction.
Mr. Bennet guides his daughters in martial arts and weapons training, molding them into a fearsome zombie-fighting army. Elizabeth's dislike of Darcy turns into full-blown hatred when she learns that Darcy plotted to separate Bingley from her sister Jane. Elizabeth vows to avenge the slight to her family by killing Darcy. Later that evening, she is afforded that opportunity when he appears unannounced at the cottage where she is visiting her newlywed friend Charlotte (who has been secretly bitten by a zombie and is slowly turning into one herself). Before Elizabeth can fetch her katana and behead him, Darcy surprises her again by proposing marriage. The scene culminates in a vicious verbal and physical fight, in which Darcy is wounded. etc. etc.
And there's going to be a movie. Natalie Portman has turned down the role due to a "scheduling conflicts".
I say GOOD FOR HER!
