1. A Clean, Well Lit Place
A story about an older waiter's identification and affirmation in the latent suffering of an elderly patron.

1. Old Man (65) - a tired, worn man. Frail, smallish frame.  Life consists of little beyond drinking and watching the world recede.
2. Young Waiter (24-30) - friendly, but impatient.  Prone to complain.  Tall, skinny.  Nervous about the future.
3. Older Waiter (37-50) - A warm, hospitable man.  Reserved and a bit worn himself, but always looking to make others feel comfortable and home.


2. The Grasshopper and The Bell Cricket
A story about a small moment of love between a young boy and girl witnessed by his grandfather.

1. Danny (10-14) - Impulsive and joyful, though very sensitive, he likes to attract the attention of all those around him, but never at the expense of another.
2. Jessica (10-14) - Shy and full of wonder, she loves to dance alone, and sing quietly while along the streets.
3. Gary (68) - A old man, long ago widowed, supported by his unconditional love for his son.
4. Bart (65) - A  friendly, somewhat silent mechanic.  Very good with his hands.  Sunken eyes, strong composure.

Ok, I'm now pulling up my post from 13^th of Oct 2010.
Here it is:

Kuna töötasin kogu öö (see on long distance töötegemise puhul tõsine downside), olin korraga skypeis ja telefonis ning tegin samal ajal tekstides muudatusi, siis kavatsen ma täna päeval magada. Enne, aga pean panema kirja nimekirja, mida ma olen Kristjanile juba mõnda aega lubanud. Ole lahke, Kristjan: nüüd saad oma nimekrija minu omaga võrrelda ja kes rohkem pihta saab, see... u know.
Minu nominentide nimekiri:

• The King's Speech: Colin Firth on mu ammune lemmik ja selles filmis on ta täiesti on fire! Lähen isegi nii kaugele, et pakun talle selle rolli eest parima meesnäitleja nominatsiooni. Vähemalt.
• Inception: selle aasta parim aju-action.
• The Social Network: selline aastalõpu boxoffice hitt ei jää kindlasti märkimata.
• The Kids Are All Right: mu isiklik selle suve indie-lemmik.
• Black Swan: ballett. Hands down!
• Toy Story 3: Pixari siiani kõige võimsamalt teeninud animatsioon.
• The Fighter või 127 Hours: üks painav inimkogemus peab kindlati olema.
• Winter's Bone: I like the mood of this one. It's so current.
• Love and Other Drugs: there should be one sexy movie in the midst ;)

 10 on täis, aga ma lisan siia lõppu veel paar musta hobust: Coenite True Grit ja Shutter Island.

Buttie (for Simon)

My very English BF made me a bacon buttie (down, Simon!) last night after I came home from set with a seriously sour mood, aching back and only one night to come up with some major alterations.

It's a scary looking bun (down, Simon!) with a lot of greasy ham stuck between it (rock on, Simon!), but it (plus a beer) was just what I needed and now I'm all happy and fluffy and feathery... (Oh my....).

Haa, Happy Birthday, Simon! Luv ya! ;*
